Local level Martyrs’ Memorial Gold Cup is being held in Hetauda
Makawanpur: – The third edition of the local level Martyrs’ Memorial Gold Cup Football Tournament will be held in Hetauda from today which is to be organized by the District Football Association, Makawanpur.
The competition will be inaugurated by Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation Director Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus) and Kunjana Ghimire (Suntali) at the Institute of Forest Science Studies, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 10 today, said District Football Association Makawanpur President Tika Lama.
Regal Hetauda Resort Makwanpur-11, Nepal Army, APF Club, Nepal Police Club, Jawalakhel Youth Club, Sankata Club, Machhindra Club, Bagmati Youth Club Sarlahi, Navjanjagriti Youth Club Simara and African Routes Association will participate in the competition which will be held till Chaitra-7.
The inaugural game of the competition will be played between Regal Hetauda Resort Makawanpur-11 and Navjanjagriti Youth Club Simara.
The first and second teams in the competition will receive certificates and medals worth Rs 10 Lakhs and Rs 500,000 respectively.
Similarly, the best player of the tournament will get Rs 50,000 in cash, the best academic player will get Rs 25,000 each and the winner of Man of the Match will get Rs 10,000 in cash.
