Makawanpur: – The government is launching the second phase of vaccination campaign against corona virus (Covid-19) from today. Under the second phase of the vaccination campaign, people over 65 years of age across the country will be vaccinated against corona.

The second phase of the vaccination campaign will be launched by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli himself vaccinating against Covid-19. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Prime Minister Oli will be vaccinated at the TRI Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj at 10 am today.

Earlier, in the second phase, it was announced to vaccinate citizens above 55 years of age, teachers, public transport drivers and co-drivers, but the government has changed the vaccination schedule as the amount of vaccine is insufficient.

According to the ministry, 6,000 vaccination centers have been set up across the country for the second phase of the vaccination campaign.

A vaccination campaign against corona has started in Nepal from Magh-14.
