A mini stadium is being constructed in Hetauda

Makawanpur: – Work has been started to build a mini stadium to the playground near Kampadanda in Hetauda Bazaar, the capital of the state.  Construction of an eight-lane 400-meter-long athletics track has started around the stadium.

Hetauda Sub-metropolis has provided Rs 11 Lakhs for the construction of the track in the current Fiscal Year 2077/78. No any athletics track had been constructed in Makawanpur till now.

Earlier, the District Athletics Association, Makawanpur, had spent money in the name of constructing a track in Huprachaur, However it was not constructed. Hetauda-5 Ward Chairman Rajesh Baniya informed that the construction of athletics track in Kampachaur will be completed now.

The foundation of the parapet will be laid this year and the upper part is planned to be constructed next year. Chief of Hetauda Sub-Metropolis Hari Bahadur Mahat informed that a suitable budget will be provided for the construction of the parapet next year.

Piple Youth Club is going to build not only the track but also the parapet on the south side of the ground. A budget of Rs. 20 Lakhs has been made available from the sub-metropolis for concrete parapets.

Piple Youth Club is currently busy clearing the field and growing grass. Kampachaur area, which was used as a learning ground for cars and motorcycles in the past, has been secured with fencing around the ground.

Division Forest Office Makawanpur has provided Rs. 10 Lakhs for the construction of structures including gardens. The club also plans to build an open gymhouse.
