Makawanpur: – At least 38 protesters have been shot dead by security forces in Myanmar.
Military forces shot them when they were protesting against ‘Military Ruling System’.
So far, 50 protesters have been killed since the army took power. According to the BBC, 38 people were shot dead during the protests on Wednesday only.
Myanmar’s military declared a state of emergency on February 1, taking control of the country. The military has detained leaders, including President Winmont and State Councilor Aung San Suu Kyi including others politicians.
There have been holding daily protests in Myanmar against the military coup.
