Makawanpur: – Former Prime Minister and Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Dr. Baburam Bhattarai is scheduled to return home today.

According to his secretariat, former Prime Minister Bhattarai will return to Nepal today on a Nepal Airlines flight after completing his health check-up. Bhattarai had gone to New Delhi on Phalgun-9.

Bhattarai, who had gone New Delhi on suspicion of having cancer in a neuro-endocrine tumor, had a medical examination at the Institute of Liver and Bile Sciences there.

After a biopsy, doctors concluded that there is no cancer. However, doctors have suggested that the tumor be surgically removed within two to three months.
