Ambulance handed over to five district hospital by State Government
Makawanpur: – The Bagmati state government has handed over B-class ambulances to five district hospitals over the State.
On Sunday, Chief Minister Dormani Paudel handed over B-class ambulances to the five chief physicians of the 13 district hospitals and the chairperson of the Hospital Development Committee at a function organized by the Ministry of Social Development in Hetauda.
Chief Minister Paudel handed over the keys of class B ambulances procured by the Ministry of Social Development to the Chief Physician of Sindhuli Madi Hospital and Chairperson of Hospital Development Committee of Sindhuli District, respectively.
According to Basanta Adhikari, Senior Public Health Officer at the Bagmati Health Supply Management Center, five Class B ambulances have been procured and handed over by the Ministry of Social Development at a cost of Rs 86 Lakhs and 75 thousands under the current fiscal year program.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Social Development, Dr. Purushottam Raj Sedhai informed, said that the ambulances purchased at a cost of Rs. 29 Lakhs and 20 thousands each has been handed over to with the objective of providing quality and quick health services.
Chief Minister Paudel, Principal Secretary of the Council of Ministers Dr. Man Bahadur Bishwakarma, Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development Dipendra Kafle and Chairman of the Hetauda Hospital Development Committee Prakash Paudel expressed their views on the occasion.
