Makawanpur:- All the necessary preparations for the ‘Bakaiya Literature Festival-II’ have been completed which is to be held on Friday and Saturday by Jharna Literary Family, informed Secretary of ‘Jharna Literary Family Masan Upasak.
The festival is to be hold on Friday and Saturday in the premises of Prabhat Secondary Bakaiya-5, Sripur.
On the first day, there will be a children’s special literature program, a debate program on “The role of School in Teaching Culture and Overall development of Students” and a teacher representative literature with the aim of highlighting the literary talents of the Children.
Similarly, the literature program centered to youth generation will be recited on the second day with the respect of the creator, said Secretary Upasak. “We have organized the festival this year with different programs than the previous year,” he added. “This time it will be a special children’s festival.” We will hear their creative writing. On the second day, there will be various programs including honor to the literary person”.
In the program, eight different literary persons will be honored in the program. This year, Sunsari’s senior writer P.D Bhim Upadhaya will be awarded with ‘Homnath-Tikamaya Talent Award’. This award of Rs. 15,555 has been established by Nur Prasad Gautam.
While the Babulal-Bhojmaya Talent Award of Rs. 11,111 established by Binod Subedi is being given to RR Chaulagain, a veteran poet of Makawanpur. The Shiva-Savitri Adhikari Memorial Liberation Award of Rs. 11,111 established by Ramesh Mohan Adhikari is being given to veteran liberator Gyanuwakar Paudel while the Khadananda-Manmaya Memorial Talent Award of Rs. 5,555 established by Arpan Parajuli and Darpan Parajuli will be given to Youth writer Sumitra Suma, informed Chairman Gautam.
Ruku Karki, a writer from Makawanpur, is being awarded the Sushila Dangal Memorial Creative Woman Award of Rs 5,555 established by Rajan Dangal, Ward Chairman of Bakaya-4. Sanjivani Buti Sahitya Seva Samman of Rs 5,555 established by Tulsi Giri is being given to Manahari Lamichhane of Bakaya-4.
Jharna-Bakaya Journalism Award of Rs. 5,555 established by Bakaiya Village Municipality will be given to Khem Bolkhe while the Jharna-Bakaiya Nava Pratibha Award established by Chandra Kumar Rai will be given to Deepshikha Ghimire of Bakaya-4.
Similarly, flute player Gopal Ghatani is also being honored as a local talent.
