Makawanpur: – Leader of the main opposition party Indra Bahadur Baniya has welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court to restore the House of Representatives.

He thanked the Supreme Court for re-establishing the House of Representatives and convening the House meeting within 13 days. This is a historic decision, we welcome and respect this decision of the independent judiciary, Baniya told TuKhabar.

A constitutional bench comprising Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabra, Justices Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha, Anil Kumar Sinha, Sapna Malla Pradhan and Tej Bahadur KC has decided to reinstate the House of Representatives which was to be dissolved on the recommendation of PM Oli.

After the dissolution of the House of Representatives, CPN (led by Prachanda-Madhav) and Nepali Congress were agitating against dissolution all over the nation.
