Makawanpur: – The ‘Badi’ community has staged a gathering in front of the office of the Karnali Chief Minister and Council of Ministers demanding for the well settlement of the ‘Badi’ community.

On foot from Kalikot and Dailekh, 402 members of the ‘Badi’ community reached the gate of the Chief Minister’s Office at 8 Pm on Monday. Their adamant is not to leave the gate of the office until their demand is met.

The ‘Badi Adhikar Sangharsh Samiti’ has stated that they will not return home unless there is a guarantee of land, accommodation and employment with permanent documents for them.
