Makawanpur: – Chief Minister of Bagmati Pradesh Dormani Paudel has said that the activism of the local government is necessary for the prosperity of the entire country.

This was stated by Chief Minister Paudel while addressing a state level seminar on ensuring child rights held in Chitwan on Monday.

Chief Minister Paudel said that it is important for the local government to be proactive as it is the local level that would formulates and implements the policies. He informed that the central government has understood this as it will not be able to achieve anything unless the implementing body is responsible.

He made aware about the role played by the local government during the Covid-19 epidemic also confirmed this and added that the development of the entire country could not take place unless the local government became responsible.
