Makawanpur: –The third edition of the local level Martyrs’ Memorial Gold Cup National Football Tournament will be held in Hetauda, ​​Makawanpur from Phalgun-27.

The tournament, organized by the Makawanpur District Football Association, will be held at the Forestry Campus, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 10.

According to the Makawanpur District Football Association, the competition will be held with the special support of the Provincial Sports Development Council, Bagmati Province and sponsorship of the local levels of Makawanpur in which six clubs of ‘A’ division and four clubs of ‘Mofasal’ will be participated in the competition.

As the reward, the first and second position holder will be awarded with Cash of 10 Lakhs and 5 Lakhs respectively.

The main organizers of the competition are 10 local levels of Makawanpur. The local levels of Makawanpur have sponsored the competition at a cost of Rs. 70 Lakhs under the coordination of District Coordination Committee, Makawanpur.

The competition, which will be conducted at a total cost of Rs. 94 Lakhs 40 Thousands and 500, will collect Rs 70 Lakhs from main sponsor, 14 Lakhs 50 thousands from ticket and Rs 9 lakhs and 90 thousands from the donations, according to organizers.

The competition will be played from Phalgun-27 to Chaitra-7.
