Makawanpur: –  ‘Danphe Yaswa Club of Makawanpur’ has started its victory journey in the Bagmati Pradesh League Football Tournament.

The winner of the Makawanpur District League Football Tournament, Danphe, defeated Kavre in the match played on Sunday.

Danphe defeated Kavre 3-1 in the competition held at Adarsh ​​Multiple Campus, Battar.

In the Competition, Shaniraj Thokar scored two goals and Rajesh Syangtan scored one goal for Danphe while Rajesh Thapa scored only one goal for Kavre and Sanuraj Syangtan was declared as the ‘Man of the Match’.

In the tournament organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) which started on Thursday, Danphe will play another match against Kathmandu on Phalgun-11.

Football teams from 10 districts of Bhaktapur, Bhaktapur, Rasuwa and Ramechhap are participating in the competition.

The winner of the competition which is to be played till Phalgun-24 will receive Rs 500,000 in cash and the runner-up Rs 250,000 in cash along with a trophy, medal and certificate, according to the organizers.
