Interim order of the court to stop the appointment process of the State Youth Council
Makawanpur: – The Patan Hetauda Bench of the High Court has issued an interim order to the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Hetauda, to postpone the appointment process of the Vice-Chairman of the Bagmati Pradesh Youth Council. A joint bench of Justices Raj Kumar Wan and Nagendra Lal Karna has issued an interim order not to proceed with the appointment process of the vice-chairman of the state youth council immediately.
The Ministry of Social Development under the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Bagmati Province, had opened the application for the post of Vice-Chairman of the Provincial Youth Council on Shrawan-26.
Sixteen people had applied for the post of vice-president. The selection committee comprising secretaries and experts of the ministry had selected three out of 16 candidates on the basis of merit and ability.
However, ignoring the selection process, Prakash Chandra Pandey of Hetauda-11 had filed a writ petition in the Patan Hetauda High Court against the Chief Minister and the Office of the Council of Ministers. .
Judging on the debate held by the advocates Shusil Kumar Pokharel, Madan Dahal and Posta Bahadur Thapa on the writ petition, an interim order has been issued to the Chief Minister and the Office of the Council of Ministers to stop the appointment process immediately.
