Makawanpur: – The Mayor’s Cup Football Tournament-Hetauda-2077 is scheduled to be held from Phalgun-14.  The competition is being organized by the Municipal Sports Development Committee, Hetauda Sub-metropolis.

According to the organizers, the football tournament, which was to be started from today, has been re-scheduled from Phalgun-14 due to technical reasons.

Committee Chairperson Chandra Shahi informed that 19 teams will participate in the competition which will be held at Huprachaur in Hetauda Sub-metropolitan Ward No. 4 from Phalgun-14 to 24.

The winner of the competition will be awarded with Rs. 2 Lakhs where as runner up will get Rs. 1 Lakh and 50 thousands with shields, medal and certificates.

Similarly, the best player of the tournament will get Rs 10,000 in cash, the best defender, midfielder, goalkeeper, coach and top scorer will get Rs 5,000 each.
