Formation of committee under CM to celebrate ‘Democracy Day’
Makawanpur: – A 165-member function committee has been formed in Hetauda under the coordination of Bagmati Chief Minister Dormani Paudel to celebrate the 71st National Democracy Day on Phalgun-6, 7 and 8.
Speaker of Bagmati State Sanu Kumar Shrestha, Deputy Speaker Radhika Tamang, Ministers, Chief Secretary, Secretaries, Chief and Deputy Chief of District Coordination Committee, local level people’s representatives and representatives of security agencies are being included in the committee which is formed under the CM Paudel.
Secretary at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law Madan Bhujel has informed that the rally, which started from the premises of Bhutan Devi Ma.vi at 7.30 am on Phalgun-7, will turn into a ceremony at Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers.
According to Peshal Kumar Pokharel, an officer at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law, the three-day program will include blood donation program, sanitation of Hetauda market, secondary school level quiz contest, street race and sports and seminar program on various electronic media.
