Chief Khulal said that it is easy to get drinking water facility in Hetauda area through Hetauda Drinking Water Management Board and added that it is the responsibility of the board to provide quality drinking water.

Also, he stressed on the need to make a long-term plan for the citizens to consume clean and quality drinking water easily. Stating that drinking water should be the first priority, he said that the problem is gradually being solved in Ward No. 14 with the help of the ward office.

Speaking on the occasion, Ward Chairman No. 14 Deepak Khadka said that drinking water is being given priority along with other developments. He said that the drinking water problem in the ward was at an end in the three years since the formation of the local government.

On the occasion of the third general meeting, it has been decided to hand over the drinking water project run by Baneldhap Kalopani Drinking Water Consumers Committee to Hetauda Drinking Water Management Board. About 500 households have been using drinking water from the drinking water project operated for the past four years through the Consumers Committee. On the recommendation of the ward office, the drinking water will be handed over to the management board within this month.
