Dissolution of parliament: 15 minutes for lawyers to debate
At the beginning of Sunday’s session, Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabra, who was presiding over the constitutional session, said that the public lawyer has been given 15 minutes from today.
As of Friday, eight had debated from the side of government. Of them, 7 are government lawyers. Attorney General Agni Kharel, Senior Advocate Sushil Pant, Deputy Attorney Generals Padam Prasad Pandey, Narayan Prasad Poudel, Vishwaraj Koirala and Associate Advocates Sanjeev Raj Regmi, Lokraj Baral and Khemraj Gyawali have already argued in defense of the government.
Earlier, time was not set for them for debate, but now they lawyer will do debate only for 15 minutes. Now, the public lawyer, Deputy Attorney General Tek Bahadur Ghimire, Associate Advocates Shyam Bhattarai, Uddhav Prasad Pudasaini and Deputy Attorney General Dasharath Pangeni have to debate.
Apart from that, there will be debate by the private lawyer of Chief Justice.
