Makawanpur. Police have arrested a man from Ghattedanda of Bagmati Village Municipality Ward No. 3 on the charge of rape. The arrested has been identified as Bhim Bahadur Moktan, 45-years old.

Moktan was arrested on Friday on charges of raping a 51-year-old local woman, police said.

Police on duty at the Regional Police Office, Phaparbari arrested Moktan after receiving information that he had raped the woman on Magh-5.

Police said that they are conducting necessary investigation and legal action against him.
