Makawanpur: – Karnali Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi and two other ministers have taken to the streets to make the general strike by the Prachanda-Madhav faction of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) successful.

Supporting the ‘Nepal Banda’, Chief Minister Shahi, Minister for Land Management and Cooperatives Bimala KC and Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forests and Environment Nanda Singh Budha reached Mangalgadi Chowk in the state capital.

Talking to media persons at Mangalgadhi Chowk, Chief Minister Shahi said that they were compelled to take to the streets against the unconstitutional dissolution of the House of Representatives by the Oli government and the swearing in of illegal appointments to constitutional bodies.
