According to the police, the opium poppy cultivation in a total area of ​​18 Bighas in Kodevitar, Manchhap, Jimajung and other places of Raksirang Village Municipality-4 has been destroyed.

A 45-member police team deployed by the Riot Control Police Battalion under the command of Inspector Avinash Adhikari of the District Police Office, Makawanpur on Wednesday destroyed the drugs.

Similarly, police seized 500 kg of cannabis and destroyed it while hiding it in the field, according to Makawanpur Police.
