Makawanpur: – Police have arrested a man with cannabis at Newarpani on the East-West Highway in Hetauda Sub-metropolis ward No. 19 of Makawanpur.

He has been arrested with 11 Kg of Cannabis by a special team deployed by District Police Office, Makawanpur on Tuesday.

The arrested has been identified as Rajendra Bahadur Damai, 41, of Parsa Sakhuwa Parsauni Gaupalika ward No.2, informed Indra Bahadur Rana, District Police Office, Makawanpur.

According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, Damai, who was heading toward Hetauda driving an auto (Na-2-Ha 4109), while checking the auto by the team, he was arrested with 10 Kg cannabis, 6 Lakhs and 7 thousands Nepali Rupees and 2,500 Indian Currency hiding below the seat of the driver.

And it has been informed that necessary investigations are being done.
