Makawanpur: – Chif Minister of Bagmati state Dormani Paudel has released ‘Deewas Rai’ language writing style and Deewas Rai work collection.
A book published by Kiran Dewas Rai Utthan Samaj Nepal with the support of ‘Himali Adivasi Samaj Nepal Matri Bhasha Kendra Nepal’ was released by Chief Minister Paudel in Hetauda on Friday.
Stating that the constitution has emphasized on preserving language and culture after the release of Dewas Rai’s book on language, he claimed that the government has also given first priority. “Curriculum is being prepared and taught in the language of the majority caste in the local area,” he said. “Nepal is a beautiful flower garden of the caste. The government is committed to preserve the language and culture.”
Stating that the Tharu Museum has been inaugurated in Chitwan, he said, “Go ahead and build a museum useful for future generations and other communities as well. The government will help.”
Former Constituent Assembly Member Pralad Lamichhane, President of Federation of Nepali Journalists Bagmati State Pratap Bista, Former Central Member of Kirat Rai Yayokkha Shankar Rai, Central Member of Kirant Dewas Rai Upliftment Society Nepal Pramod Kumar Rai and others spoke on the occasion and emphasized that government should conserve since it is our wealth and identity.
The program facilitated by Rajman Dewas Rai, Central General Secretary of Kirant Dewas Rai Upliftment Society Nepal and chaired by Ashman Dewas Rai, Makwanpur President of Kirant Dewas Rai Upliftment Society Nepal.
Central advisors of ‘Kirant Dewas Rai Upliftment Society’ Prem Rai, Gyan Bahadur Rai, outgoing co-treasurer Chandra Bahadur Rai and others were present on the occasion.
