Makawanpur: – Various programs are being held in Makawanpur Schools for the International School Award. The ‘Modern National Secondary School’ representing the community school from Makawanpur is carrying out various activities for the award.

In this regard, carrying social responsibility, the students have organized an awareness rally about healthy food. The rally started from the school and reached Simachok via Bhairav -School Road and ended at School.

Teacher Reshmi Basnet said that 100 students of class 7 participated in the rally for the award organized by the British Council, there is participation of the students from class 3 to 10.

She also added that the award function interrupted by the global pandemic Corona Virus (Covid-19), has been resumed again.

And for the award different programs are being run by the class- 9 and 10 also.

According to the teacher Suraj Budhathoki, the interaction with the students of India and Pakistan also has been done for the participation of the awards.
