Makawanpur: – A vaccination campaign against corona virus (Covid-19) has been started in Hetauda, the capital of Bagmati province. Chief Minister Dormani Paudel has inaugurated the Covid-19 vaccination campaign organized by the Ministry of Social Development in Hetauda today.
Chief Minister Paudel has also inaugurated the PCR laboratory room of Covid-19 established by the Ministry of Social Development at the premises of Hetauda Hospital today where at the campaign; Chief Physician of Hetauda Hospital Dr. Pravin Shrestha has been vaccinated.
Addressing the function, Chief Minister Dormani Paudel said that the state government has mobilized its resources and manpower to provide health care to the people of the state and provide immediate relief to the families of the victims of natural calamities.
He noted that the federal government had worked diligently to provide the vaccine to the people, adding that the government is responsible and accountable to the people.
Chief Minister Paudel expressed confidence that the state government is implementing package programs in various districts to make the people active towards economic prosperity along with the preconditions of development and the people would soon get sustainable benefits from those schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary at the Ministry of Social Development Dipendra Kafle said that the federal government has been providing vaccine to 64,192 people in 13 districts and as per the plan the campaign has been started to inject vaccine to all the front warriors. At the first Phase, Health workers, cleaners and security personnel, as provided by the federal government.
Kafle added that 35 vaccination centers have been set up in 13 districts of Bagmati to vaccinate against Covid-19.
