Makawanpur: – One person has died in a road accident in Bara district. The demised was killed when a mini truck (Ba-3-Kha 3736) hit him while he was leaving Chhatapipra on the Birgunj-Pathlahiya road section from Jitpur Simara Sub-metropolis-9 Chhatapipra Road in Bara.

The deceased has been identified as Lal Bahadur Pandey, 36, of Khotang. According to the District Police Office, Bara, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Narayani Hospital, Birgunj.

Police have taken the driver under control and investigations have been started.
