Mahottari. Two persons on a motorcycle were killed when a tipper hit them on Gaushala-Samsi road in Mahottari district this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Pramod Ram Chamar, 19, of Balwa Municipality-9 and Guddu Nadaf, 17, of Orahi Municipality-4, according to the District Police Office.

The accident took place at around 9 this morning when a tipper (Na 8 Kha 980) heading towards Gaushala from Samsi hit a motorcycle (J 6 Pa 1409) coming from the opposite direction on the road at Aurhi Nagarpalika-4 Kathudhar Chowk, killing the motorcyclist Pramod and the rear rider Guddu.

After the incident, the locals have blocked the Gaushala-Samsi road section by placing the body on the road while the tipper driver has been taken under control by the police.
