Makawanpur. Nepali Congress Makawanpur on Thursday staged demonstrations in all wards of the district against the dissolution of the parliament by the communist government led by KP Sharma Oli.

Meanwhile, the Nepali Congress Bhimphedi Village Municipality-8 Ward Committee has organized protests saying that the government has dissolved the parliament in an unconstitutional manner.

Secretary of Nepali Congress Makwanpur Ananda Kathayat was the chief guest at the protest rally chaired by Ward No. 9 Deputy Chairman Shree Ram Kathayat.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Kathayat said that the aim of the current movement was to restore the dissolved parliament. None of the articles and clauses of the constitution made it clear that a majority prime minister could dissolve parliament.
