Makawanpur: –An operation of Tumor in small intestine has been successfully done for the first time at Hetauda Hospital of Bagmati State.

Dr. Prabin Shrestha of Hetauda Hospital informed that an operation of tumor in small intestine has been successfully finished cutting 20 cm long intestine of 27 years old woman patient of Hetauda Sub metropolis ward No.14.

The surgery was done for the first time by a surgeon time of Prabin Shrestha, Dr. Nischal Khanal, Dr. Nirajan Shrestha and Dr. Sajit Ansari.

With the expansion of three ICU wards, such complex surgeries will now be performed at Hetauda Hospital.

In the hospital, complex and simple surgeries including Osteoarthritis, stones and appendicitis are use to be done.
