Makawanpur. A month-long training to make velvet and Dhaka shoes has started in Hetauda of Makawanpur district.

Mayor of Hetauda Sub-Metropolis Hari Bahadur Mahat inaugurated the training organized by the Home and Small Industries Office, Makawanpur.

Mayor Mahat urged the people to become self-employed by learning the skills for a month rather than training for the training.

He said that the local government will help those who are self-employed rather than always participating in various trainings.

Hetauda-1 ward chairperson Sabin Neupane and others were present on the occasion.
