Makawanpur: – According to the District Election Office, Makawanpur, it has been scheduled to update the voters list in Makawanpur from Magh-15 to Magh-19.

According to the Schedule of updating the voters list in all 77 districts by the Election Commission of Kathmandu, the work of updating will star in Makawanpur from Magh-15.

There is plan to update the local voters list in eight Village Municipality, Thaha Municipality and Hetauda sub-metropolis office of the District, informed District Elected Officer Govinda Prasad Paudel.

Paudel said that the time has been fixed from Magh-15 to Magh-19 to update the names of the new voters who have reached the age of 18 by Poush-5 and to remove the name of the old voters who have died in the old voter’s list.

At present, there are 272,478 voters in Makawanpur.
