Makawanpur. Police have arrested eight persons from Manahari of Makawanpur district along with 44 kg of cannabis.

A police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Manahari on Friday morning arrested eight persons from the road at Manahari Gaupalika-8, Simpani.

Among the arrested are Sujan Praja, 22, Deepak Lama, 25, Kanchharam Lama, 52, Gopal Chepang, 45, Ratan Singh Gatan, 31, Uddhas Blon, 36, Prem Moktan, 25, and Sitaram, 34, of Kailash Gaunpalika-4.

Manahari police said that necessary investigation and legal action has been taken against them.
