Makawanpur. A person has died in a road accident in Hetauda sub-metropolis of Makawanpur district last night. The deceased has been identified as Devi Lama, 43, of Lewat in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 3, said Indra Bahadur Rana, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Makawanpur.

He was killed when a bus (Na 6 Kha 6963) heading towards Kathmandu from Janakpur and a motorcycle (Na 63 Pa 150) coming from the opposite direction collided head-on at Hetauda-15 last night, said Superintendent of Police Rana. The deceased Devi was riding a motorcycle.

According to spokesperson Rana, Ishwar Nepal, 36, of Hetauda-3 was seriously injured in the accident. He is undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College in Chitwan and investigation are being carried.
