Self-Defense training in Raksirang
Makawanpur. Asmita Nepal, Makwanpur has conducted training for self-defense of women and adolescents.
Aarti Pathak, chairperson of the organization, said that the training was conducted in Raksirang village of Makawanpur for self-defense.
Under the child marriage reduction program run by Asmita Nepal, Raksirang village municipality wards. Chairperson Pathak informed that self-defense training was provided to the girls in wards no 2,4,4 and 5.
Adolescents in the age group of 10 to 18 years are participating in the training. According to the coordinator, the first priority is given to the members of the adolescent group, adolescent members of the children’s club and female students.
Asmita Nepal has been working for the rights of women in Makawanpur, including women’s rights, women’s empowerment, and women’s rights.
