Makawanpur. Three persons have been injured in a road accident at Thahanagar Municipality of Makawanpur last night. According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, three persons were injured when an untested mini truck heading towards Kathmandu from Birgunj met with an accident at Thahanagarpalika-12 last night.

Among the injured are truck driver Lal Bahadur Thakurai, 34, of Birgunj Metropolitan City, Bishnu Das, 18, of Birgunj-12 and a 24-year-old youth.

The condition of the injured youth is critical, said Indra Bahadur Rana, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Makawanpur.

According to him, the injured are undergoing treatment at Bayodha Hospital in Kathmandu. Necessary investigation is underway into the accident.

The truck fell about 200 meters from the road.
