Makawanpur: – Temporary Family Planning service has been provided in Kailash Rural Municipality of Makawanpur. The local body stated that the service has been provided by running a camp in the Rural Municipality to end the practice of having more than two children.

Chairman, Tanka Moktan said that the service of ‘The Contraceptive Implant’, which is kept in the arms of women, has been provided at Gogale Health Post in Kailash.

Under this service, 44 women have availed the service just in one day. Chairman Moktan said that the women, whose need of children was over, came to the village with the temporary family planning service.

The practice of giving birth to many children is declining due to the male sterilization service set up in Kailash Rural Municipality.
