‘Sculpture workshop’ taking place at Hetauda
Makawanpur: – An eight-day sculpture workshop has started in Hetauda Sub-metropolitan ward No.18, Harnamadi on Sunday on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the ‘Shreee Jyoti Secondary School’ with the slogan ‘Art for Art’.
The program was chaired by Hark Ramtel, Chairman of the School Management Committee and hosted by Anil Baniya, ward Chairman of Hetadua-18.
The workshop has been started at the Panchakanya Bhawan of the school aiming of conducing sculpture and painting classes on fine arts from the next academic session.
National artists Laxman Bhujel and other local and national artists are participating in the event.
Former school president Narhari Mahat, ward member Toynath Timalsina, Jyoti Community Forest Users Committee president Rambabu Khatiwada, former teachers Ram Sharan Bania, Ram Chandra Bhujel, school land donor Ravindra Bahadur Surkheti, Teachers and Tarents Tssociation president Jaya Bahadur Moktan, former principal Sarad Shrestha and Goraksha Nath were present on the occasion. Former teachers and chairpersons including chairperson Shailendra Raj Bania, Gorakh Nath secondary school and Principal Jayaram Thapa were present at the event.
