Makawanpur: – A statue of folk poet Ganesh Lal Shrestha will be installed in Bhimphedi.

A committee has been formed under the coordination of Bishnu Gopal Maharjan to install a statue at Bhimphedi, the birthplace of folk poet Shrestha on Saturday by a gathering of literary associations, organizations and people familiar with Ganesh Lal Shrestha.

It is said that the people of Makawanpur, who are involved in various professions and businessman in Kathmandu, have already made a statue of poet Shrestha.

The committee has been formed to install the statue at a suitable place in coordination with Bhimphedi Rural Municipality.
