Makawanpur: – The District Police Office remanded an old man in custody for 7 days for further investigation in accuse of performing sexual acts on a disabled woman.

According to Deputy Superintendent Of Police, Indra Bahadur Rana, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Makawanpur, the 62-years-old father (Thulo Buwa) of the disabled woman,21, was arrested on Friday.

The accused was remanded in custody for another 7 days by the Makawanpur district Court on Friday, according to the District Court Makawanpur.

According to the Police, the victim was allegedly paralyzed woman with one arm and one leg, he had performed sexual act and threatened her in case of sharing the matter, she would be killed with a Khukuri.

As the victim was unable to speak, the incident was reported only on Friday and a case was registered on the same day, police said.
