Makawanpur: – Dormani Paudel, Chief Minister of Bagmati State, stated to change the definition of ‘Development’ which is in practice. He expressed his views not to consider pitch road and long road as indicator of development.

Addressing Second meeting of the Bagmati Provincial Development Council held at Sauraha in Chitwan on Monday, Paudel said that only physical development would not be possible unless there is economic, social and educational development of the people who walk barefoot on the paved roads. Stating that government is committed for all these development, he added the government has set up an easy loan fund of Rs. 3 Arba for the development of entrepreneurship and employment promotion.

Addressing the program, Tourism Industry, forest and environment minister Arun Prasad Nepal informed that state government is set up to bring program for the promotion and improve of the marginalized people in the state.

Minister for economic Affairs and planning Kailash Prasad Dhungel said that marginalized, undeveloped and developing type of society in Bagmat, would be developed by well planning.

Similarly, Rameshwar Phuyal, minister for Physical Infrastructure Development informed that there was problem in the selection and implementation of the project due to non-implementation of the project bank.

The meeting chaired by State Development Council Chairperson and Chief Minister Paudel, the discussion has been done on the topic of development, plans, expenditure, work evaluation etc within a year has been done in the meeting, said acting vice-chairperson Shyam Basnet.
