CPN Makawanpur: 114 out of 145 are in favor of Prachanda-Madhav
Makawanpur: – The CPN (Maoist) is in burning condition when the President Bidhya Devi Bhandari dissolved the House of representative in the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. Executive Chairperson of the ruling communist party Pushpa Kamal Dahal and senior leader Madhav Nepal as well as others leaders are protesting against the dissolution of parliament accusing PM’s move as unconstitutional and undemocratic.
On Tuesday, Both Prachanda and Oli convened a meeting of the Central Committee with the aim of taking against each other. Earlier, Prachanda and Madhav centered supporters had taken disciplinary action against Oli. The action will be submitted to the committee for approval at today meeting.
Both the leaders, Oli and Prachanda are seemed to be active from ground level to top level in order to increase their supporters and environment in their favor.
In Makawanpur district committee of the CPN , Prachanda Madhav Nepal’s side is seen heavy than Oli supporters. Along with 67 members of Moist and 78 members of UML, there are 145 members. According to Maoist sources, 67 members of Moist and 47 of the former UML are in favor of Prachanda-Madhav where as only 31 are seen in Oli support.
Called a Meeting to be united against dissolution
A meeting called for unity against the dissolution of Parliament, held in Makawanpur On Monday, concluded that the dissolution of the parliament was unconstitutional.
The meeting was attended by Member of the House of Representatives and Makawanpur Party In-charge Virodh Khatiwada, Makawanpur President Munu Sigdel, Secretary Prem Bahadur Pulami, State Assembly members Kumari Moktan, Om Bahadur Ghalan, Party Leader Badari Lamsal, Sridhar Pokharel, Mayor Haribol Mahat and others leaders.
