Infected died in emergency ward after not getting ICU
Makawanpur: – A corona patient died in the emergency ward of Lumbini Provincial Hospital due to lack of ICU beds at Corona Special Hospital.
An 83-year-old man from Butwal-11, who was admitted to the emergency ward on Baishakh-15, was tested positive for Corona infection on Baishakh-16.
He was waiting for a bed in the emergency ward for 24 hours as the ICU bed at the hospital was not empty despite the corona infection being confirmed.
