Electricity service in ‘Baikuntha’

Makawanpur: – Electricity transmission has started in Baikuntha of Kailash Rural Municipality ward No. 2 of Makawanpur.

The electricity has been inaugurated by the Chief of Nepal Electricity Authority Palung Distribution Center Santosh Prasad Panta.

Earlier, the local were compelled to rely on local light ‘Tuki Bati’ in the lack of maintenance of the lights produced in the local.

The local are happy with the electricity reached in the activism of the ward office, local supports and electricity supply at a cost of Rs 40 million from the Bijaran Center.

Raju BK, a local said,” We had not been able to use electricity for a long time due to the lack of maintenance. We have got electricity after the local government came into operation. It will be easy now”.

After the power supply, the local don’t have to do hard work for simple purpose and school as well as students will be benefited. Now they can operate their electronic device easily.

Addressing the condition, ward chairperson Ghising expressed that they have been able to expand the electricity service by facing a lots of challenges due o the geographically difficult and large area. He also added that the goal is to declare a bright ward very soon.

So far, 71% citizens have access to electricity, according to the Kailash Rural municipality office.
