Makawanpur. An 86-member police team deployed jointly by the District Police Office and the Drug Control Bureau has destroyed the cultivation of cannabis in different places of Makawanpur.

According to the Indra Bahadur Rana, Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Makawanpur, the team destroyed of 220 Bighas of Cannabis cultivation from Mangsir-8 to Mangsir-24.

According to him, athare Dhasrang, Gejurang, Karling, Hapranga, Ghattekhola, Bhedul, Chyamatee, Lawati, sarikhet, palase, dhurkot, maisirang, swara gejurang, waiching, tarling, Lochyo and Dewitar of Raksirang Gaupalika Wada No. 2,3,4,5,8 and 9 altogether 220 Bighas of cannabis have been destroyed.
