Makawanpur. A person had died in a road accident at Baheda Chowk of Khairhani Municpality-1 on the East-West Highway.

One person was killed when a Scorpio vehicle (Ga-1-Cha 9721) heading toward Bharatpur hit a motorcycle (Na-29-Pa 9708) heading in the opposite direction, Police informed.

The deceased has been identified as Bijendra Chaudhary, 35, of Khairhani Municipality-07, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.

Chaudhary, who was injured in the accident, died at Bharatpur Hospital last night in the process of treatment.

Police have arrested the driver and the vehicle involved in the incident and area conducting necessary investigation into the incident.
