Chitwan: A woman has been killed in a wild elephant attack in Chitwan.

The deceased has been identified as Tilmaya Bhujel, 50, of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-13, Ujelinagar.

According to the Area Police Office, Gitanagar, Bhujel died on the spot after being attacked by a wild elephant at around 4 am on Sunday.

Similarly, the elephant completely damaged three houses in the same place, police said.
