Industrial survey begins
Makawanpur. The industrial census, which takes place in every 10 years, has been started in Makawanpur and Dhading from today. According to the Districts Statistics Office, Hetauda, which is under the Central Statistics office, the survey was started in Makawanpur and Dhading.
According to Rajesh Das, Chief of the Statistics office, the survey work, which has been postponed for about 10 months due to Corona epidemic, has been resumed following safety measures.
In the survey, data was collected from 140 industrials among the 340 industrials of Makawanpur and 217 Industrials in Dhading under the jurisdiction of the Statistics Office, Makawanpur.
This time, data of the remaining 417 industrials will be collected. He said that the survey was conducted covering various aspects including the contribution, potentials, challenges, problems and employment situation of the industrial sector in the national economy.
The work, which was supposed to start on Phalgun-1 under the approved program of the Central Statistics Office, was postponed due to Lockdown of Corona epidemic. The ten year interval survey was conducted in 2066 BS. Only firms with ten employees are included in the survey.
