Construction of Hospitals at 5 local level of Makawanpur

Makawanpur. Hospitals will be constructed in Thaha Municipality, Manahari, Kailash, Raksirang and Infrasarowar Village municipality of Makawanpur with the investment of the Ministry of Federation Affairs and General Administration.

The foundation will be laid for the construction of 15 beds hospital in Thaha Municipality, 15 beds hospital in Manahari Gaupalika, 10 bed hospitals in Kailash Gaupalika, 10 beds hospitals in Raksirang Gaupalika and 5 beds hospital in Indrasarowar Municipality. Chief Minister of Bagmati State Dormani Paudel is going to lay the foundation stone of the hospital in Manahari Village Municipality.

Chairman of Manahari Village Municipality EkrajUpreti has informed that the hospital will be built by upgrading Manahari Primary Health Center. According to him, Rs. 8.5 million has been received for the construction of the hospital and the total cost is estimated Rs. 18 Crore 6 lakhs and 82 thousands for the construction.

Similarly, Birodh Khatiwada, a member of the house of representative form Makawanpur Constituency No.2 and Kumari Moktan, a member of the Bagmati Provincial assembly will lay the foundation stone of the hospital in Thaha Municipality, said Lawsher Bista, Chief of the municipality. According to him, a hospital is to be constructed in Thaha Municipality Wada No.4 Kampadanda. Mayor Bista said that the DPR for the hospital has been prepared and the construction work will be completed within a week by inviting tenders within a week.

Information Officer of the municipality Suraj Kumar Bhujel has informed that Rs. 10 million has been received for the hospital so far. According to him, the total cost for the construction of the hospital is estimated Rs. 18 Crore 6 lakhs and 82 thousands.

Similarly, the ministry has allocated Rs. 85-85 million per for Raksirang and Kailash Gaupalika. It is estimated that a bed  10 beds hospital will be constructed in both Gaupalika and the investment will be at the rate of 10 Crore 83 Lakhs and 36 thousands per hospital.

Chief Administrative Officer of Raksirang Village Municipality Yubraj Acharya has informed that the hospital will be constructed by upgrading the Khairang Health Post. After the construction of the hospital in Raksirang, the people of this geographically difficult area are expected to have access to health facilities.

Similarly, Kalikatar Health Post will be upgraded and developed as a hospital, said Kailash Municipality. In Indrasarowar Village Municipality, Kulekhani Health Post will be developed as a hospital. 7 million has been received for the construction of the Five-bed Hospital and the total investment is estimated Rs. 7 Crore 11 Lakhs and 98 thousands.
