Laid the foundation of Auditorium of Secretariat and Provincial Assembly
Makawanpur. The foundation has been laid to build a meeting halal of the provincial Assembly Secretariat in Hetauda, the capital of Bagmati Province.
Sanukumar Shrestha, Speaker of the Provincial Assembly, has laid the foundation of the construction which is planned to be built along with the existing Provincial Assembly building in Hetauda Sub-metropolis Wada No. 10 TCN Road.
The Urban Development Office and Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, Makawanpur has allocated a total 4 Crore 37 Lakhs and 24 Thousands budgets to build the hall which is 40 Meter in Length and 80 feet in breadth which has capacity of 2 hundred ad 50 people at once in the hall.
On the occasion, Indra Bahadur Baniya, Leader of the Main Opposition Party of Bagmati State, urged to complete the construction work as soon as possible for the use of the existing members of the state assembly.
The program was attended by Deputy speaker of the Provincial Assembly Radhika Tamang, Members of the Provincial Assembly, Chief of District Coordination Committee Makawanpur, Deputy Chief, Chief and Deputy chief of Hetauda Sub-metropolis and others.
Similarly, Chief Minister of Bagmati State Dormani Paudel also laid foundation of a meeting hall with capacity of 400 people in the premises of Hetauda Sub-metropolis today.
Minister for Physical Infrastructure of Bagmati Rameshwar Phuyal informed that the building had to be constructed due to problem in conducting various state level programs, meeting and ceremonies.
The construction of the conference hall contracted by ‘ Sanrakshak Construction Service’ and ‘Save Engineering Construction JV’ is targeted to be completed on Baishakh-17, 2079 BS.
A sum of 5 Crore 26 Lakhs 83 thousands and 359 has been allocated for the construction of the building .
Mayor Mahat Said that all the seven ministries of the state and the sub-metropolis used to have problems in holding various programs as they did not have their own assembly hall and now after the construction we will not face such problems in the coming future.
He said that the problem would be solved now even though the program was being held in Party palace, School hall and Palpasa Auditorium during the program of the Sub-metropolitan municipal council and the ministry of the province.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development Ramehswar Phuyal said that the state government has expedited the construction of Bridges, Roads and buildings. He said that the construction of tunnel connection Hetauda, capital of state and Kathmandu state of nation, and construction of roads connecting other districts would be expedited.
The program Chaired by Hetauda Sub-metropolis Mayor Hari Bahadur Mahat was attended by Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Kailash Dhungel, Social Development Minister YubrajDulal, Chief of District Coordination Committee Makawanpur, Deputy Chief and Chief, Deputy Chief of Hetauda Sub-metropolis.
