Makawanpur: – The Ministry of Social Development of Bagmati Province has made public the wrong statistics that more than 10,000 corona infected people have died in the province till now.

The ministry said on its website that 10,568 people have died of corona infection over the districts of the State whereas, if we talk about the data of Ministry published, then we come to know that there are only 3,164 death toll due to Covid infection.

Similarly, according to the data made public by the ministry, corona infection has been confirmed in 164,326 people of the state and 154,946 have been recovered so far.

Out of which, 8,312 are currently actively infected.

At present, 43 people are being treated in the state with ventilators and 89 in ICU, according to the ministry, 608 people are living in institutional isolation and 7,704 people in home isolation.
