Kathmandu: – According to the Health Disaster Management Center of the Ministry of Health and Public Health, the medical treatment provided to patients in Nepal is not working against the second wave of corona infection. Dr. Sameer Kumar Adhikari, coordinator of the health emergency center and spokesperson of the ministry, said that the medicines used against first wave and treatment methods used in the hospital have not been able to cure the patients of the second wave.

He said that the situation is becoming worrying to the Center and the Ministry as the patients are not cured by the treatment after being admitted to the hospital. Talking to the people on Saturday evening, he said, “There is no medical treatment for those who have been admitted to the hospital. It is difficult to save those who have serious symptoms.” “It’s not uncommon for people with severe symptoms to recover,” he said.

Similarly, the recovery period of the patients admitted to the hospital is getting longer. Praveen Nepal said. “Patients who have been infected in 10 days have not been able to recover quickly,” he said. He said that due to the increase in the number of critically ill patients in the hospital, all of them are not able to get proper treatment. “Being very infected means an increase in the number of serious illnesses. Being serious also means an increase in the number of deaths,” he said.
